Map Overlay

infoTOWN can overlay a Topographic or other Municipal Map to show the details of the various landforms and waterways as viewed against a selected Module. "Enlarge Image"

Topographic Maps are drawn in scales of:

• 1:2500
• 1:50 000

infoTOWN can accommodate up to 99 different map backdrops which include:

• 1:2500 Topographic
• 1:50 000 Topographic
• !:500 Municipal

Functionality exists to view maps relevant to the selected polygon or to view maps for the entire municipality.

Capability also exists to view maps in a continuous database based on the graphic extent of the current new window.

Continuous Database
A Continuous Database is a series of adjoining or adjacent maps that act and interact upon spatial functionality as if it were one large map. For example if a municipality has 6 separate maps for a property index, infoTOWN can determine which properties will be affected by a water shutdown even if the properties are on different map sheets.
